GIFT CARICATURES

Below are some samples of ones I've done for people who have contacted me either in person or via just email, by sending me pictures of the caricature subject.

These drawings are for the most part, about 16" X 20", on sturdy illustration board, suitable for framing.

Some friends of ours got married and this is a picture they have of the wedding ceremony, them dancin up a storm on the floor, tossing the bouquet and their honeymoon travels, all bundled up in one image. No photo existed that captured this look. The resulting picture will hopefully provide them with memories of the night, long after the photos have gone yellow.

A delightful example of a unique engagment at a cottage, next to the beaver dam at night. I was told the couple were quite delighted with this, cause, hey- there wasn't any photographers handy at the time.

I was asked to draw this lovely couple from a series of photos from the wedding. What you can't see here is the detail I put in the wedding dress. However, the client was quite happy.

This lovely lady commissioned this image as a gift for her husband of one year. As you can see, I was to portray their engagement moment and other moments of their relationship.

This work was for a company employee who was leaving the firm. She apparently loved the horse jumping world, though I'm not entirely sure she was a rider of this nature herself. I believe this went over quite well at her party.

A personal family birthday gift to the Dad who is hard to shop for. He was however, adept at rebuilding an old Model T.

This was a going away gift to three scientists. I incorporated aspects and symbols of their science near their image as well as showed the company buildings that they were moving from and to. This was framed up and presented to them at a big dinner. I heard it went over quite well and that they really appreciated it.

A favourite teacher at a school was being given this caricature gift by a thankful group of parents and the kids. The kids in his homeroom had their names put on it at the bottom of the picture.

This was a graduation present to the guy.

Friends and family signed it all around and its was framed up.

This happy golfer from Direct Energy was off to Vegas and the golf links in his retirement.

A lovely lady cherishing life, flowers and happiness.
